FAQs

Should I eat/drink anything before Yoga?

I recommended refraining from eating for 2-3 hours before a class, but it’s a good idea to drink plenty of water right up until 30 mins before class. During class please refrain from drinking anything (including in Hot Yoga) Yoga is traditionally practiced with a complete empty stomach.

What do I wear?

Anything comfortable and that you can move freely in.

I have an injury, is yoga for me?

Depending on the injury, yoga can be amazing for healing and restoring the body. Contact me directly before coming to a class or booking if you are concerned, I would be more than happy to have a chat about it.

How often do I need yoga?

Yoga is traditionally a daily self practice. This can sometimes be hard to find time to do, but I would recommend practicing at least 3 times a week to begin with. Regarding booking one to one sessions, I recommend booking at least 5 sessions at least once a week to begin with. It takes time for the mind and body to get used to new expressions and ways of moving, plus routine is a great way to keep the discipline.

One on One sessions, do you do home visits or do I need to travel?

I have a beautiful, humble and cosy room in which I teach my one to one clients in Lichfield. I am able to come to your house for a little extra cost, check the one to one page for more info.
